CAIRO - 7 January 2020: Stay tuned for the announcement of a new archeological discovery in Saqqara, the land of mystery, ancient splendor and secrets.

In November 2020, in an international press conference attended by more than 300 members of local and foreign media and press members, the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities announced another big discovery by an Egyptian mission.
 
 
A discovery of more than 100 sealed coffins from the Ptolemaic and late period, 40 wooden statues of Ptah Sokar, Ushabti statues, amulets and gilded masks, and for the first time an X-Ray scanning was done live on one of the discovered mummies.
 
 
From Saqqara, Egypt's Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities will announce the first discoveries of 2021.
