CAIRO –30 June 2017: The Egyptian Star Ahmed El Sakka claimed the first rank in the feast movies competition by his latest film ‘’Horob Edterary’’ (Forced Escape).

A distribution official in one of the cinemas declared that Horob Edterary movie achieved the highest revenue in the Egyptian cinema history, yielding LE 5.9 million ($325,609) on Monday only, attaining total revenue of LE 22.3 million.

Sakka in the movie will be accused of a murder of a business man, so he will run until he proves who the real killer is. Horob Edterary staring beside El Sakka, Ghada Adel, Mostafa Khater, Amir Karara, Fathy Abdelwahab and Ahmed Zaher.

Gawab Etekal (Apprehension letter) movie claimed the second rank with a total revenue of LE 9.6 million. The film hero is the popular Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan who plays a role of a terrorist called (Ahmed), who joins a terrorism group, popular for committing serious crimes in the country, and his brother (Khaled) tries to prevent him from joining the group, but he fails. One day, Khaled will have a fight with the group, which will lead to his death, which prompts Ahmed his brother to try all ways to seek revenge. Gawab Etekal starring Dina Fouad, Sayed Raghab, Mohamed Adel and Eiad Nassar.

The Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny claimed with his film Tesbah Ala Kheir (Good night) the third rank with total revenue of LE 7.2 million. The movie revolves around a successful and wealthy engineer called Hossam Khedewy performed by Hosny, who recently suffers from problems so he choose to live an alternative life through a new device, which enables him to enter his dream world. Tesbah Ala Kheir hosts a group of actors in addition to Hosny: Dorra, Mai Omar, Nour, Bayoumi Fouad and Mahmoud el-Bezawy.






Anter Ibn Ibn Ibn Ibn Shaddad movie grabbed the fourth rank with total revenue of LE 3.4 million. The Egyptian veteran comedian Mohamed Henedy’s latest cinematic offering revolves around the character of Antar who must come to terms with finding his true identity and fight a powerful tribal leader to win the heart of the most beautiful girl in town. Anter Ibn Ibn Ibn Ibn Shaddad starring Dorra, Hala Fakher, Bassen Samra, Lotfy Labib, Khaled Sarhan and Alaa Morsy.

The fifth and the last rank goes to El-Asleen (The Originals) movie. El-Asleen is a suspense movie that tackles the use of eye print in espionage operations. The movie starring Menna Shalaby, Khaled el-Sawy, Kinda Alloush and Maged el-Kidwany.
