CAIRO – 15 September 2020: Rasheed National Museum received the Director of Studies at the French Institute of Oriental Archeology and his accompanying delegation from the institute and the French International University for African Development, Senghor University.

 

Director General of the museum Saeed Rakha, said that the visit included the various halls of the museum, noting that the delegation expressed their admiration for the distinguished tour. He also stressed that the delegation was keen to visit  due to the success of the museum's cultural workshops in various fields and extensive work to revive the traditional crafts.

 

It is worth mentioning that the delegation also visited the ancient house of Al-Amselli.

 

Director of the General Administration of Museum Education for People with Special Needs in the Museums Sector Ahmed Nagy explained that the Museums Sector in the ministry is working to develop the method of exhibiting artifacts in the museum.

 

In addition, a visit path to the museum is being determined for the visually impaired, using the open display in the museum's garden.
