CAIRO- 14 June 2017: Indian actor Paresh Rawal said last week that he is willing to work in Pakistani films and series despite India’s position against Pakistan due to recent terror attacks.

Rawal is also a member of the Parliament led by the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political party called the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He added that he loves Pakistani TV series such as ‘Humsafar’; he praises the acting, story, and language of Pakistani TV shows.

Rawal also stated that artists manage to decrease the cultural gap between India and Pakistan and they don’t throw bombs and cause unsettlement, according to a statement by Mid Day.

A number of Indian political parties, including BJP, demanded the ban of Pakistani artists after a terror attack has happened in Uri, India, which urged some artists to stop working in the Indian entertainment industry.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is one of the controversial movies that were taken off air because it featured Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
