AmrDiab to shut down official forum

CAIRO – 5 March 2019: Amr Diab decided to shut down his official forum on March 10, making his social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram his only official platforms.

The official forum Amr Diab.net has been the favorable chat room for Diab’slovers over the past 15 years. Diab himself is one of the forum's members that include over 150,000 of his fans, who used to share their unique memories of Diab’sconcerts and fashion, their analyses of Diab's music and all the breaking news about him.

Diab explained to his fans reasons behind such frustrating decision:

Dear Amr Diab official forum members,
For years, we have been together since the launch of Amr Diab World and until we moved to Amr Diab.net forum. During these years we had great memories, shared love, care and real dedication and devotion.

Every day, technology changes how we interact and communicate. Recently, I made sure that my social media channels are much more active in all terms. I gave the discussion board all the chances to compete but it is time to say goodbye to the official discussion board. I sadly announce that Amr Diab.net forum will be taken down on March 10.
