MTM band introduces first Ramadan rap fawazir

CAIRO –28 May 2017: MTM music team presents daily from the beginning of Ramadan the first Rap fawazir (Rap riddles) titled “el-Haga Om el-Ekhteraa” (The Old Lady is the Mother of Invention) on NRJ radio station. Miky one of the team members revealed that the each episode will contain a riddle in the form of one minute and 30 seconds rap song.

Maky added that they have already recorded 15 episodes, and will start the next 15 to cover the whole month. MTM is presenting different rap style in each episode. The team consists of three members Taky, Maky and Mahmoud. Taky writes the lyrics of all the rap songs.

"MTM" team may not be able to perform in Ramadan concerts and tents this month, but is currently preparing for a series of major concerts during the upcoming Eid El-Fitr season.

The team has already sang the song of the movie ‘’Horoub Eterary’’ (forced escape) starring the star Ahmed el-Sakkain . It is Fawazir “el-Haga Om el-Ekhteraa” brings the team back to the scene after more than two years of absence from their latest song, "Thais Nasansees’’ (crazy monkeys.)
