CAIRO – 3 June 2018: Four Ramadan soap operas utilized the flashback device in their plots. Some directors adopt this technique to attract the audience more, in addition to shedding light on the backdrop and back story of the series. The four series are as follows.

The story revolves around a girl named Aya who died in a wedding due to a terrorist bombing. Her niece, Malika, having such great resemblance to Aya, decides to live a double-life of both Malika and Aya, which results in her psychological suffering.
