CAIR – 1 June 2018: With sublime and articulate words, the Egyptian band “Wust El Balad” easily reached the hearts of their fans with one of the songs released in their new album “Bantlony El Jeans'' (My Jeans).

The new album brought the band back to the spotlight after a three-year pause.

The celebration of releasing their previous album “Karakeb” last January was followed by a series of concerts in which the group performed locally within Egypt.

“Wust El Balad” is now going to start their journey of performing outside of Egypt, in which Jordan is chosen as their first station, as the group is going to surprise their fans there with a special Ramadan all-nighter event.

The band is going to travel to Jordan June 1 to prepare for the event that will be held on Jordan “Al Telal El Sabea'' theatre at 9 p.m. on Saturday.

The concert is organized as a closure for Ma’arefa Festival, the biggest Ramadan celebration to ever be organized in Jordan.

The Ma’arefa Festival consisted of an exceptional Egyptian-Jordanian blend of music, in which different Egyptian groups performed, starting from the group “Top Four”, “Massar Egbary”, “Cairokee”, “Sharmoofers” and “Wust El Balad”.

Numerous Jordanian musical groups performed alongside their fellow Egyptian groups as well creating the magical music blend offered throughout the entire festival.

Among the performing Jordanian groups were “Autostrad”, “Harkat Cart”, “Aylol”, “Ghaem Joze’e”, “Al Moraba’a” and “Khata’a Bashary Error”.

The above mentioned bands were considered the elite amongst the Jordanian talents and were carefully selected to perform in the special Ramadan Festival, Al Ma’arefa.

Each band is assigned to perform for one night individually throughout the entire holy month of Ramadan.
