CAIRO - 24 March 2018: Famous composer, songwriter, and Palestinian singer Rim Banna has passed away in her hometown Nazareth at age 51 after struggling with breast cancer for nine years.






The renowned singer discovered that she is suffering from breast cancer back in 2009 and decided to courageously fight it and live as a free rebel. After long treatment it was completely cured but last year cancer has returned to her again, and she decided to keep resisting.

She won the hearts of many not only for fighting her illness but also for being the voice of freedom of her hometown in Palestine.




The meticulous singer has studied music and singing in the High Institute for Music "Gnesins" in Moscow and has produced 10 albums since 1985. Banna was specialized in modern singing and conducting ensembles as well as writing and singing her own songs, according to her official Facebook page.
