Children’s show Allam Semsem is back after 8-year hiatus

CAIRO - 23 April 2017: After its absence for several years, Egypt’s most famous children’s program “Alam Semsem” (Semsem’s world) will be back on Al-Nahar television network in Ramadan 2017.

Al-Karma production company signed a contract with Al-Nahar satellite channel, which will air the 30 episodes of the program exclusively.
The show will be under the slogan of “Dream, Plan, Achieve” which is an international initiative launched by the American non-profit organization MetLife Foundation and Sesame Workshop to help children and adults define their goals, develop their ambitions and realize that the choices they make every day can help them achieve their dreams.

The content of the program will enhance the main goal of this initiative, and the episodes will focus on teaching children new values and principles.
