The sexual and reproductive health website collaborates with Egyptian graffiti artists in a new Darb 1718 exhibit
In collaboration with the Egyptian street art movement, the sexual and reproductive health website Love Matters launches an exhibition titled “Without Barriers” on Wednesday, October 22 at Darb 1718. With 13 artists and under the direction of Mohammed Khaled, the exhibition explores themes of intimacy and relationships through graffiti art and ties to Love Matters’ mission to address sexual health in Egypt. “The ‘Without Barriers’ exhibition is the first time Love Matters has extended its digitially based project to incorporate offline activity in the Middle East,” said a press release for the event. Opening night will feature a special performance by Aya Metwalli alongside a live painting. The exhibition is free and open from October 22-November 3.
