CAIRO – 5 August 2017: The Cairo Opera House will be hosting a special classical Spanish performance conducted by 'Mona Burkhard' who will present a night with a special Spanish folklore theme Monday August 7.
The Spanish dances mimic both bullfighting steps and moves from the 1950s and 1960s. The aim of the classical Spanish musical culture theme is due to its proximity to oriental music. Burkhard is a Scandinavian artist with a BA in anthropology, who is well versed in Classical, Latin and Spanish dance.
Her numerous successful performances across various cultural places in Egypt have received the admiration of both public audiences and critics alike. The Cairo Opera House had wrapped up its
