Medhat Saleh to stage closing of Alexandrian Opera Summer Fest

CAIRO – 3 August 2017: The closing ceremony for the annual summer festival in the Alexandria Opera house will be inaugurated by artist/ singer Medhat Saleh, who will stage the opera house on August 6. Saleh will be participating in a joint performance with renowned pianist Amr Selim among other oriental artists, according to a released statement.

opened in Sayed Darwish Hall at Alexandria Opera House on July 23, featuring multi-disciplinary performances such as singing choirs, ballet, and music segments.

The festival featured several artists and bands including Tunisian artist Ghalia bin Ali, Glass Onion, Ahmed Gamal, Amer El Tony for Egyptian Sufi music, and Khaled Selim among others, according to the event’s official Facebook page.
