American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr, known as IShowSpeed or Speed enjoyed a true taste of Egypt at Koshary Abou Tarek, sampling the iconic traditional dish as part of his ongoing adventure across the country.

Wearing the Egypt national football team jersey, Speed continued his tour of Egypt with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, documenting the experience in a live stream watched by thousands worldwide.

During his tour, IShowSpeed was visibly amazed upon seeing the golden mask of King Tutankhamun. He expressed his astonishment through his words and reactions, describing the moment as unbelievable given the sheer greatness of what he was witnessing. @⁨Messeiry ⁩

Speed also visited the Giza Pyramids documenting the experience in a live stream watched by thousands around the world.

IShowSpeed visited the Great Pyramids on Thursday, where he appeared wearing a traditional Upper Egyptian galabeya. The moment reflected his admiration and respect for Egypt’s rich heritage and culture, as he took viewers deep inside one of the world’s most iconic landmarks.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Speed visit aimed to explore Egypt and learn more about its ancient civilization and major tourist attractions.

Speed is one of the most influential YouTubers in the world, if not the most influential. He has over 50 million YouTube subscribers.

This entire month, Speed has been touring Africa, going live 24 hours a day from a different country almost every day. He started in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, then moved on to Ethiopia, and now he is in Egypt, delivering his first-ever live stream from inside the Pyramids.

The Egyptian Film Commission made this possible and provided him with the facilities and equipment that enabled the Pyramids — and Egypt — to appear in such a breathtaking way.

The Egyptian Film Commission organized the trip as part of an initiative to promote Egypt as a tourist destination and highlight the country’s unique cultural and civilizational treasures.

Speed managed to go that deep inside the Pyramids without the live stream cutting out, with the internet working perfectly.

Speed’s visit was preceded by days of rehearsals and technical preparations to ensure a stable internet inside the Pyramid and throughout his entire visit to Egypt.

Internet cables were extended into the Pyramid using external broadcast units belonging to the ANA Agency, ensuring uninterrupted coverage from start to finish.
