Amina Khalil is one of Egypt’s most radiant and versatile stars. Born on October 26, 1988 (in the U.S., with upbringing in Cairo), she trained rigorously—earning her BFA from the American University in Cairo (class of 2009), then sharpening her craft at New York’s famed Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute .

 

Bursting onto the scene in 2011, Khalil captivated audiences with standout performances in Asham (2012) and Sukkar Mor (2015), before her breakout television role as Nazly in the hit Netflix‑streamed Grand Hotel (2016). She further showcased her depth in Layali Eugenie (2018) and the gripping crime series Qabeel, proving her ability to light up both the big and small screen.

 

Beyond her artistic achievements, Amina shines as a champion of women’s empowerment. In 2021, her advocacy for female rights earned her the prestigious title of Honorary Goodwill Ambassador by the UN Population Fund in Egypt.
