1- El Captain
The series “El Captain” follows the story of pilot Hossam Ezz El-Din, played by Akram Hosny, who makes an unintentional mistake during a flight, leading to a plane crash. As the sole survivor, he is shocked to find the spirits of some passengers appearing to him, seeking his help in completing unfinished tasks to save their souls. “El Captain” stars Akram Hosny, Aya Samaha, Sawsan Badr, Ahmed Abdelwahab, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Mimi Gamal, Mohamed Radwan, Sami Maghawry, Ahmed El-Rafei, Omar Sharky, and Weam Magdy. The series is written by Amr El Daly, directed by Moataz El Tony, and produced by Karim Abou Zekry. “El Captain”, which consists of 15 episodes, will air on DMC channels during the first half of Ramadan.
2- El Nos
The United Media Services has released the promo and official posters for the series “El Nos” in preparation for its premiere during Ramadan 2025. The promotional materials for “El Nos” have been well received by the audience, with particular praise for the poster. The series stars Ahmed Amin, Asmaa Abulyazid, Sedky Sakhr, Hamza El Eilly, Samia Trabelsi, Donia Sami, Samar Allam, Doaa Hakam, Abdulrahman Mohamed, Esraa Ahmed Atiya, and Wael Eini. The series is inspired by the book “Mozakarat Nashal” (Memoirs of a Pickpocket) by researcher Ayman Othman. The screenplay is written by Sherif Abdel Fattah, Abdelrahman Gawish, and Wagih Sabri, directed by Hossam Ali, and produced by Aroma Studios.
Set in the 1930s during the British occupation, “El Nos” unfolds in a comedic framework. Ahmed Amin plays a skilled pickpocket who decides to repent and renounce theft. He forms a group to resist the British occupation, enlisting a girl played by Asmaa Abulyazid—and a police officer named Alawi, portrayed by Sedky Sakhr, along with a team of pickpockets.
3- Aysha El Dour
After a hiatus from the previous Ramadan drama season, Egyptian star Donia Samir Ghanem is making her much-anticipated return in Ramadan 2025. She will star in dual roles in the series Aysha El Dour, which will be available for streaming on the WATCH IT platform and one of the channels of United Media Services. The plot follows a twist of fate that forces the protagonist, Aisha, to lead a double life—one as herself and another as her niece, Malak. Circumstances compel her to impersonate Malak at her university, unexpectedly plunging her back into the challenges of adolescence. The narrative unfolds as she masterfully embodies both characters in a story that blends comedy, romance, and social drama. The series also features a distinguished ensemble cast alongside Donia Samir Ghanem, including Mohamed Kelany, Amira Adeeb, Fadwa Abed, Maged El-Kelai, and Mohamed Tharwat. It is penned by Ahmed El-Gendy and Karim Youssef, and directed by Ahmed El-Gendy. The show will span 15 episodes.
4- Shehadet Moamlet Atfal
WATCH IT has unveiled the official poster for the series “Shehadet Momalet Atfal” ( Child Treatment Certificate) starring veteran comedian Mohamed Henedy, which is set to premiere on United Media Services channels during Ramadan 2025.
Mohamed Henedy plays a lawyer who falls into a coma and wakes up 20 years later to find a dramatically changed society, setting the stage for a series of comedic and unexpected events. Henedy’s character is a cunning and mischievous lawyer who manipulates situations to his advantage, marking the first time he takes on such a role. The series is loaded with humorous twists and comic situations. The storyline is set within a comedic framework, highlighting Henedy’s lawyer character as he navigates various amusing and unexpected situations.
”Shehadet Moamlet Atfal” was written by Mohamed Soliman Abdel-Malek, directed by Sameh Abdel-Aziz, and produced by United Studios. It stars Mohamed Henedy alongside Mahmoud Hafez, Noha Abdeen, Khaled Anwar, Jihan Khalil, Sabry Fawaz, Alaa Morsy, Sama Ibrahim, and Elham Wagdy among others.
This marks Mohamed Henedy’s return to television drama after a six-year hiatus, his last series being “Ard El-Nifaq” (Land of Hypocrisy), an adaptation of Yusuf El-Sebaai’s novel. The story was previously made into a film of the same name, starring Fouad El-Mohandes, Shweikar, Samiha Ayoub, Hassan Mostafa, and Abdelrehim El-Zarqani, directed by Fatin Abdel-Wahab.
5- Okbal Andkom
The upcoming comedy series “Okbal Andokom" is set to air during Ramadan 2025. Starring the duo Hassan El Raddad and Amy Samir Ghanem, the series consists of 15 episodes and is part of the United Media Services drama lineup for the Ramadan season. The series presents a collection of comedic episodes with standalone stories, each unfolding over two episodes. Amy Samir Ghanem plays the role of Hassan El Raddad’s wife, with the humor driven by situational comedy.
Alongside Hassan El Raddad and Amy Samir Ghanem, the show features an ensemble cast, including Mohamed Tharwat, Alaa Morsi, Arfa Abdel Rasoul, Haggag Abdel Azim, Riham El Shanawany and Soliman Eid. The series is written by Ahmed Saad Wali and Alaa Hassan, directed by Alaa Ismail, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky in collaboration with United Media Services.
