Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, accompanying delegation visit Saqqara Antiquities Area

CAIRO – 14 December 2021: The Saqqara Antiquities Area received the Swedish Ambassador to Egypt and the delegation accompanying him.

They were received by Director General of the Saqqara Antiquities Area Sabry Farag, who accompanied them on a tour that included a visit to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and its pyramidal group, the Pyramid of Unas, and the distinguished tombs in the area.

Farag explained that the ambassador and the delegation expressed their happiness with the visit and with learning about the ancient Egyptian civilization through the archaeological treasures, especially through the great and important archaeological discoveries that this region witnessed during the last period.
