CAIRO – 13 December 2021:  On December 14 at 6 p.m., Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will inaugurate the 28th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater at the Balloon Theater, in the presence of all Arab and foreign theatrical delegations.

 

 

 

 

The inaugural ceremony will be preceded by the opening of the exhibition "Unconventional Theatrical Designs" at El-Hanager Theater at 5 p.m., in the presence of the festival's guests and various media outlets.

 

 

 

 

The opening ceremony begins with the Egyptian National anthem, followed by the screening of a short film highlighting the activities of the festival’s 28th edition, and the screening of a short film about late Professor Fawzy Fahmy, whose name is given to the 28th edition.

 

 

 

 

Also, a short film about the members of the judging committee will be screened, followed by President of the Festival Jamal Yaqout’s speech, and Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem’s speech.

 

 

 

 

The opening ceremony will witness a tribute to the Egyptian Shows Observatory Committee.
