CAIRO – 8 December 2021: Cairo Opera House will present international pianist Moushira Issa’s concert On December 10 at 8 p.m. A group of promising pianists from different schools, universities, and the Academy of Arts will participate in the concert.

 

 

 

 

The program includes a selection of world classics written specifically for the piano by major authors.

 

 

 

 

It is noteworthy that Moushira Issa holds a diploma from the Higher Institute of the Conservatoire, and a diploma in the art of piano performance from Vienna, Austria in 1984. She received her PhD in Music in 1987.

 

 

 

 

Issa participated in many specialized international festivals, including the International Cervanteum Festival in Mexico, and the International Music Weeks Festival in Sofia (Italy).

 

 

 

 

Moreover, Issa won many awards and certificates of appreciation from Egypt and abroad, including the First Prize from the Young Music Association in Cairo in 1971, and the Stepanov Prize in Vienna in 1982.

 

 

 

 

Issa was chosen among the 100 most influential global figures by the BBC Arabic Network in 2019.
