CAIRO – 2 November 2021: The star Samira Saeed will perform a concert on Cairo Opera House's Fountain Theater on November 2.

 

 

 

The concert comes as part of the activities of the 30th Arab Music Festival .

 

 

 

Saeed is scheduled to present a variety of her old and new songs.

 

 

 

Saeed was born in Rabat, Morocco, in 1958, and started singing when she was only 9 years old on the famed Moroccan talents television program “Mawaheb” broadcast at the time on Royal Moroccan TV.

 

 


Most of Saeed's lyrics are written in the Egyptian dialect, and some in the Moroccan, such as: "Kifash Tlakina" (How we Met), "Fayetli Sheftek Shi Marra" (I've Seen You Once), "Sarkouh" (They Stole Him), and "Al-Behhara" (The Sailors).

 

 


Saeed's singles include "Maghlouba" (Beaten) and "Wa'ady" (My Love), and her Egyptian hits include "Benleff" (The Circle of Life), "Sayidati Sadati" (Ladies and Gentlemen), "Malich Enwan" (With No Address) and "Akher Hawa" (Last Love).
