Bibliotheca Alexandrina to hold 15th "Awel Mara” [First Time] art exhibition on Sept. 9

CAIRO – 7 September 2021: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina will inaugurate the 15th"Awel Mara” [First Time] exhibition, on September 9 at 1 p.m. in the Eastern Exhibitions Hall at the Convention Center.

The exhibition runs until September 27 and will receive visitors daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Fridays.

The exhibition’s 15th edition comes within the framework of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's continuous efforts to support of a large number of young artistic talents, by giving them the appropriate space to present their artistic experiences.

The exhibition has become a mecca for art connoisseurs and those interested in following up on young talents. It is anticipated by hundreds of the library’s visitors.

The exhibition also provides young artists with an opportunity for local contact, and a distinctive appearance on the art scene.

Thirteen male and female artists from Alexandria and Tanta, ranging in age from 24 to 35 years, will participate in the exhibition.
