Al-Sennari House to hold ‘Egypt Heritage & Civilization’ culturama on August 9 - 24

CAIRO – 15 August 2021: The Ancient Al-Sennari House and the Center for Documentation of Civilized and Natural Heritage, affiliated to the Cultural Communication Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, are organizing heritage panorama shows under the title "Egypt Heritage and Civilization" on Mondays and Tuesdays of every week starting from August 9 to August 24. The shows start at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

The shows review the history of Egypt over 5000 years. It is a journey in time and space to shed light on the ancient Egyptian heritage, the Coptic heritage and the Islamic heritage.

 

 

 

The shows will focus on the most important and famous kings, and their achievements, starting with King Narmer, who united Upper and Lower Egypt. This is in addition to giving detailed presentation on the most important buildings and archaeological sites from the Coptic and Islamic eras, as well as models from modern Egypt.

 

 

 

It is noteworthy that the Heritage Panorama, known as Culturama, is an interactive presentation prepared by the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, and presented through nine digital screens. 

 

 

 

Culturama brings together a wealth of information on natural and cultural heritage in a harmonious and innovative format, using an attractive multimedia program and the latest display technology.

 

 

 

Also, the cultural panorama has won many awards, and was patented by the Ministry of State for Scientific Research in 2007. It allows displaying multiple layers of data.
