Former Colombian President visits Great Giza Pyramids on Aug. 7

CAIRO – 8 August 2021: The Giza Pyramids Antiquities Area received on August 7 the former president of Colombia and his family.

The formed Colombian President and his family were received by Head of the Pyramids Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohiuddin who accompanied them on a tour inside the first corridor of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Sphinx and Panorama areas.

During the visit, the former President of Colombia expressed his admiration for the Giza Pyramids and the way they were built and how the stones were raised. The former Colombian president then visited the Sphinx area, where he was fascinated by the hugeness of the statue and the accuracy of its carving.
