1498 - Christopher Columbus discovers Venezuela.

 

 

1790 - The first census was conducted in the United States. The population at that time was 4 million citizens in thirteen states.

 

 

1933 - The first flight of an Egyptian national airline between Cairo and Alexandria took place.
