CAIRO – 24 June 2021: Sharm El-Sheikh Museum houses one of the biggest scarab statues discovered to this day. It is made from multiple pieces joined together by plaster on a ‎wooden base. 

 

 

The scarab was discovered in the sacred animals' cachet in Saqqara that was ‎discovered in Oct. ‎‏2019‏‎ to the northwest of the Tomb of Wahtye.‎
