CAIRO – 17 June 2021: Within the framework of the cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received Head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation Karam Gabr who headed a high-level delegation of Arab Ministers of Information.
This comes on the sidelines of their participation in the 51st Arab Information Ministers Council meeting, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
The delegation was received by CEO of the Museum Authority Ahmed Ghoneim, who took them on a tour at the museum, the Central Exhibition Hall and the Mummies Hall, to enjoy the distinguished exhibited antiquities.
The Arab Ministers of Information and the accompanying delegations expressed their admiration of the displayed artifacts that shed light on the different periods of the ancient Egyptian civilization. They also commended the development of the museum's display that is supported by modern technology.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is always keen to utilize important events, activities and visits to promote tourism to Egypt and highlight the country's various touristic and archaeological destinations.
