CAIRO – 9 June 2021: On June 8, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled el-Enany met with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Amgad Aladalia, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.

They discussed ways to promote bilateral tourism especially that tourists from both countries do not require an entry visa.

 

 

 

 

Aladalia said that Sharm El-Sheikh is a preferred destination to Jordanians. He added that it is important to make use of the road between the two countries.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, both officials discussed signing a cooperation protocol in tourism between the two countries and organizing tourism exhibitions in Egypt and Jordan, in addition to the renewal of the cooperation agreement in the field of combating illicit trafficking in cultural property.

 

 

 

 

Enany said that he is looking forward to welcoming the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan Nayef Al-Fayez in Egypt.
