Alexandria customs revenues hit LE 7B in February

CAIRO - 18 March 2021: The Finance Ministry said total taxes and customs fees collected by Alexandria customs authority in February hit LE 7.35 billion .

In a statement Thursday, the ministry said it received a report from Customs Authority head Kamal Negm on efforts exerted by customs officials to facilitate customs procedures, lower customs clearance duration, and iron out hurdles facing businessmen.

Customs certificates worth LE 1.922 billion have been issued for imports at Alexandria port, the statement said.
