CAIRO – 8 March 2021: The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority, approved the New Urban Communities Authority budget project for the fiscal year 2021/2022, at about LE 140 billion.

 

Minister of Housing Assem Al-Gazzar, who is the Head of the authority, said in a statement, Sunday, that spending from this budget will, during the next fiscal year 2021/2022, to finish, complete and start implementing hundreds of thousands of housing units of all kinds in the new cities.

 

He mentioned that the budget is devoted to implementing a number of projects, foremost of which is the delivery of various facilities and projects to the New Administrative Capital, financing a number of development projects that are being implemented in the various governorates, in addition to financing part of the works in the projects of the Presidential Initiative "A Decent Life", to develop villages and dependencies nationwide.

 

Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority, Abdulmutallab Mamdouh said that the implementation of 81,348 housing units in the social housing project will be completed.

 

He mentioned that the implementation of 35,000 housing units will be completed in the same project, in addition to starting the implementation of 150,000 housing units in some cities, and in the two projects (Dar Misr - JANNA), the implementation of 11,600 housing units will be completed, and the completion of the implementation of 5,376 housing units. 720 housing units will be completed, and 1,272 housing units will be completed.

 

The Vice President of the Authority for the Development and Development of Cities added that in the distinguished housing project, the implementation of 6872 housing units will be completed, and the completion of the implementation of 4,200 housing units.
