Egypt's improves its position in Index of Economic Freedom 2020

CAIRO - 1 October 2020: The Cabinet Information Center published an infograph, reviewing Egypt’s ranking in the index of the Economic Freedom in the World. 

 

The index was issued by that the Canadian Fraser Institute in September 2020.

 

According to the latest data available in 2018, Egypt succeeded in advancing 3 places in the Economic Freedom Index, by improving its ranking in 3 Fields. It climbed 41 placees in the field of "easy access to funds", 12 places in the field of "freedom of international trade", and one center in the field of "regulatory legislation".

 

The infographic stated that Hong Kong is still at the top of the ranking of countries on the index, while Venezuela is at the bottom of the list of index countries, with New Zealand, Switzerland and the United States among the highest-ranked countries on the index, compared to Congo, Libya and Sudan among the countries with the lowest rating on the index.

 

The center had published an infographic in which it highlighted that Egypt has achieved remarkable progress in the field of education with the latest classification of US News on the best countries in the level of education 2020.

 

The infographic indicated that Egypt is the third in the Arab world and the 42nd globally in terms of education, according to a classification of US News 202.
