PM discusses solving problems facing North Coast investors

CAIRO - 8 November 2019: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Friday to discuss means to solve problems facing the investors in Egypt's North Coast.

The meeting was attended by Investment Minister Sahar Nasr, Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar ans Nasser Fawzy, the director of the National Center for Planning State Land Uses along with Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the Executive Vice President of the General Authority for Investment.

The premier said that the state is keen to solve the problems and remove all obstacles facing investors in the North Coast to beef up investments in this promising area in a way that goes in line with Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030.

During the meeting, Madbouli ordered forming a working group from the ministries and bodies concerned for classifying all land plots that had been obtained by investors in the North Coast and identifying issues facing the investors operating in there.

The working group will be also assigned with preparing an inclusive memorandum to set out mechanisms for dealing with these land plots. The memo will be submitted to the president within two months.
