CAIRO – 2 September 2019: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday in green for the fourth consecutive session, adding about LE 6.75 million to market capitalization, amid organizations purchases.

The benchmark EGX 30 hiked 1.20 percent, or 178.57 point, to close at 15,110.23 points.

The equally weighted index EGX 50 rose 0.36 percent, or 7.93 points, to end at 2,190.37 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX 70 inched up 0.43 percent, or 2.37 points, to close at 557.1 points, and the broader index EGX 100 jumped 1.12 percent, or 16.31 point, to 1,477.93 points.

Market capitalization gained LE 6.75 million, recording LE 779.36 billion, compared to LE 772.61 billion in Sunday's session.

The trading volume reached 188.47 million shares, traded through 27,733 transactions, with a turnover of LE 1.06 billion.

Foreign investors were net buyers at LE 33.73 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers at LE 24.66 million, and LE 9.06 million, respectively.

Egyptian, Arab and foreign individuals were net sellers at LE 128.42 million, LE 18.44 million and LE 14.49 million, respectively.

Egyptian, Arab and foreign organization bought LE 103.76 million, LE 9.37 million and LE 48.22 million, respectively.

Orascom Construction PLC, Arab Aluminum, and Delta Sugar were top gainers of the session by 8.71 percent, 6.64 percent and 6.12 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Ezz Steel, Electro Cable Egypt, and Obour Land For Food Industries were top losers of the session by 8.14 percent, 6.36 percent, and 4.01 percent, respectively.

EGX ended Sunday's session in green for the third session in row, as EGX30 hiked 0.65 percent, EGX50 rose 0.45 percent, EGX70 inched up 0.25 percent, and EGX100 increased 0.45 percent.
