Foreign currencies unchanged, Kuwaiti dinar up

CAIRO – 10 June 2017: Foreign currency exchange rates stabilized against the Egyptian pound in Thursday’s banking transactions, while the Kuwaiti dinar was up around 30 piasters.

The U.S. dollar exchange recorded an average of LE 18.03 for buying and LE 18.14 for selling against the Egyptian pound.

Meanwhile, the euro recorded an average of LE 20.25 for buying and LE 20.37 for selling, according to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) rates, and the British Pound (GBP) marked an average of LE 23.33 for buying and LE 23.46 for selling.

Arab currencies remained stable against the Egyptian pound as the Saudi riyal marked LE 4.80 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, and the Emirati dirham recorded LE 4.91 for selling and LE 4.93 for buying.

As for the Kuwaiti dinar, it registered LE 59.51 for buying and LE 59.86 for selling, up from LE 59.21 for buying Thursday and LE 59.55 for selling.
