Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire talk means of cooperation in communication field

CAIRO - 1 March 2019: Communications and Information Technology Minister Amr Talaat has discussed with Minister of Digital Economy and Post of Côte d’Ivoire, Claude Isaac DE means of boosting cooperation between both countries in the communication and IT fields.

This came on the sidelines of the World Mobile Congress that was held in Spain's Barcelona on February 24-28.

During the meeting, Talaat reviewed the latest projects being implemented by the
Communications Ministry in cooperation with various State's bodies to achieve the digital transformation strategy, according to a statement released by the ministry.

The two sides probed cooperation and exchanging expertise between Egypt and Côte d’Ivoire with the aim of shifting to a digital society.

Talaat asserted the deeply-rooted ties binding Egypt with its brotherly countries in the African continent, voicing the political leadership's keenness on opening up new prospects of cooperation and engaging in partnerships with the continent's countries to achieve the sustainable development for all Africa's peoples.
