CAIRO - 3 June 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performances during last week’s transactions.
The benchmark EGX30 index hiked 2.85 percent, registering 13,467 points, the EGX said Thursday in its weekly report.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap enterprises EGX70 index slumped 2.6 percent, standing at 573 points, while the all-embracing EGX100 index fell by 1.17 percent, totaling 1,369 points.
Market capitalization was also up 1.2 percent, reaching nearly LE 678.6 billion ($37.5 billion).
Total turnover registered LE 6.7 billion, compared to LE 6.6 billion over the previous week.
