BERLIN - 23 February 2018: Head of the board of trustees of the German University in Cairo (GUC) Dr Ashraf Mansour said that devaluing the US customs dollar contributed to increasing foreign exchange flows to Egypt, which is pivotal for the Egyptian economy in view of reducing cost prices that will decrease inflation rate and prices.

Mansour made the remarks during a dialogue session with German businesspeople, investors and banks’ representatives held in Germany’s Baden-Württemberg on security conditions in Egypt.

Egypt enjoys a distinguished investment climate, stressing that terrorist attacks have not hindered the state’s march of development and economic reform, he stressed.

Egypt has outlined a plan that includes legislative reforms and investment incentives, Mansour said.

Several industrial and free zones were established with low-cost and well-trained manpower, Mansour said.
