Pilot production from Zohr gas field has kicked off Saturday, with a production capacity of 300-500 million cubic feet a day, an informed source at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) told Egypt Today. Production has started two weeks earlier than the date specified by the Ministry of Petroleum, which announced that production will start by the end of December, the source said.
Three Egyptian companies will be visiting Sudan next week in search of investment opportunities in the fields of construction and pharmaceutical Industries, Islam al-Sadeq of Sudan’s Ministry of Investment said Saturday.
