BERLIN – 16 September 2017: The visit of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) chairman to Germany was so fruitful, as he reviewed the investment advantages and incentives for German investors in the zone, Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Aati said on Saturday.

In statements to MENA correspondent in Berlin, the ambassador noted that Mohab Mamish's visit to four main German states included meetings with senior businessmen with the aim of promoting the SCZone as well as the Suez Canal as being a logistic center for world trade.

Some German companies, including ones specialized in auto industry, voiced desire to inject investments in the Suez Canal and to set up large logistic centers at the SCZone, he said.

Abdel Aati further noted that the German companies' real desire to return to the Egyptian market comes in light of the incentives given in accordance with the new investment law along with others provided in the SCZone.
