Osool ESB Securities profits skyrocket 465% in H1 2017

CAIRO – 3 August 2017: Osool ESB Securities Brokerage Co’s net profits soared 465 percent to LE 1.25 million, after deducting taxes, in the first half of 2017, up from LE 222,000 in the year-ago period, a Thursday statement said.

Revenues rose 50 percent to reach LE 12.76 million in the first six months of this year compared to LE 8.5 million in the same period last year.

Earnings per share (EPS) also increased to LE 0.016 in the first half (H1) of 2017 from LE 0.002 in H1 of 2016, the statement added.

By the end of June 2017, deferred profits surged 196 percent to LE 1.73 million up from LE 585,000 in the same period of the previous year.

Osool is a securities brokerage firm in Egypt that offers various investment tools and customer services, in addition to trading and research activities.
