The PLASTEX 2024 exhibition has attracted over 500 exhibiting companies from more than 50 countries. The event aims to showcase sustainable products tailored to meet the needs of the Middle East and North Africa market.

It covers a wide range of sectors, including machinery and equipment, raw materials and auxiliaries, semi-finished and end products, packaging solutions, recycling products, reinforced plastics, components and spare parts, AI and robotics technologies, automations, and smart services, among others.

According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), Egypt's overall exports in October 2023 amounted to $3.23 billion. This robust performance underscores the country's growing influence as a major player in international trade.
