CAIRO - 30 November 2023: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended the last session of November on a mixed note, despite adding around LE 7.68 billion to the market capitalization, amid Egyptian and foreign selling.
 
The benchmark EGX30 decreased 0.10 percent, or 23.77 points, to end at 24,735.39 points.
 
On the other hand, the small and mid-cap index EGX 70 rose 1.69 percent, or 87.75 points, to close at 5,274.93 points.
 
The broader index EGX 100 increased 1.50 percent, or 112.78 points, to 7,645.91 points.
 
Market capitalization gained around LE 7.68 billion, recording LE 1.677 trillion, compared to LE 1.669 trillion in Wednesday’s session.
 
The trading volume reached 1.4 million shares, traded through 132,449 transactions, with a turnover of LE 4.38 billion.
 
Arab investors were net buyers at LE 5.3 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers at LE 1.68 million, and LE 3.62 million, respectively.
 
Asek Company for Mining - Ascom, El Ahli Investment and Development, and MM Group For Industry And International Trade were top gainers of the session at 19.98 percent, 19.98 percent and 19.86 percent, respectively.
 
Meanwhile, National Housing for Professional Syndicates, El Arabia for Land Reclamation, and Raya Contact Center were top losers of the session by 8.84 percent, 8.69 percent, and 5.71 percent, respectively.
