CAIRO - 19 November 2023: A Saudi-Egyptian forum is agreed to be held to market investment opportunities in the two countries, Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi announced.
“It is time to integrate and cooperate, and search for opportunities in Egypt to strengthen economic relations,“ Al-Qasabi added.
More than 70 percent of the problems of Saudi investors in Egypt have been solved, and the rest of the problems are currently being resolved, he said.
He highlighted a new spirit and continuous support from the Prime Minister to conclude these matters.
Al-Qasabi emphasized directives from the Saudi leadership to continue collaboration with Egypt and increase Saudi investments in the Egyptian market.
He noted that along with 91 Saudi businessmen, they held meetings with Egyptian officials, identifying three paths for collaboration, including industrial sector investment, integration for the implementation of projects by Egyptian and Saudi ministries, and establishing institutional work between the two countries, defining the roles of business councils and chambers of commerce.
