Banks operating in Egypt to be off next Thursday

CAIRO – 27 April 2023: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that banks operating in Egypt will be off on the coming Thursday, May 4, on the occasion of Labor Day.

 

The Central Bank said that work in banks will resume on the morning of Sunday, May 7.

 

Automated teller machines (ATMs) and modern technological services compensate for the absence of banks, especially with regard to exchange and deposit operations and transfers to and from banks.
