The GAFI chairman presented the Egyptian government's measures recently taken to facilitate and expedite the registration of companies and launching of their headquarters. He further pointed out that 13 golden licenses were issued, and that the authority studies the issuance of 40 more.

As for new and renewable energy, Heiba highlighted that 23 MoUs, including nine that are being currently executed, had been signed in the sector of green hydrogen. He pointed out that many companies are interested in producing green ammonia and green hydrogen in Egypt in order to export the output, and that is the result of the availability of advanced infrastructure and energy surplus among other factors.
