EGX indices show mixed performance at close of Tuesday trading

CAIRO - 19 April 2022:The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of Tuesday's trading amid purchase operations by local funds and institutions and sales operations by foreign and Egyptian investors.

 

The market capital lost about LE 400 million, after transactions totaled LE 1.2 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index went down 0.91 percent, closing at 10,626.81 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) went up by 1.89 percent, standing at 1,727.81 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 index increased by 1.3 percent, recording 2,652.15 points.
