Mr. Haitham Essam - Careem Egypt General Manager showcased the achievements of Careem Egypt in 2021 where the company had invested over $4 million in the local market to expand its network, creating more opportunities for locals to help them improve their incomes. The company is also planning to increase its investment in the Egyptian market in 2022 to reach $11 million.

“We plan to continue to offer our customers competitive prices, making the service accessible to a broader portion of the society. We will also help our captains increase their income, and continue to improve the quality and safety of the services offered to our customers”, said Haitham Essam - Careem Egypt General Manager.

Our operations in Egypt include a call center employing nearly 500 locals to serve Egyptian and GCC customers”, added Essam.
