Egypt ranks the 15th among 60 countries in this year, which asserted its leadership in communications as an outsourcing operations hub, it pointed out.

Egypt is in the lead despite the entrance of new countries to the index, after being only 50 countries in 2019.

Egypt ranked first in the Middle East region, followed by the United Arab Emirates. It also preceded Germany, Russia, Japan and Britain on the index.

The annual Global Services Location Index, formerly called the Offshore Location Attractiveness Index, is a tool to help companies understand and compare the factors that make countries attractive as potential locations for offshore services. It measures the viability of countries as an offshore destination based on their financial attractiveness, people skills and availability, and business environment.
