KUWAIT CITY, July 19 (MENA) - Egypt defending the Libyan territories against any possible Turkish aggression is meant to protect Egyptian, Arab and North African security, Saudi Writer Meshaal Aba al-Wadaa al-Harbi said.
In an article published in Kuwaiti newspaper Al Seyassah Sunday, the Saudi writer referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's keenness on equipping the Egyptian army with the latest up-to-date weapons and ammunition trends including aircraft, submarines, frigates, along with the most developed missiles advances that could effectively hit their targets.
He referred to continued military drills conducted by the Egyptian army to maintain its high level of competitiveness and combating abilities.
The Egyptian army is an army that protects and defends its homeland and borders, rather than threats others, noted the writer.
