CAIRO - 27 July 2022: The Health and Population Ministry announced in a press release that six free medical convoys will be launched on Thursday in remote areas, which are deprived of health services, across the nation. The convoys are part of the "Decent Life" presidential initiative.

The convoys were directed to the governorates of Beni Suef, Assuit, Menoufia, Red Sea, Beheira and Aswan..

The convoys include all medical specialities, from internal medicine, paediatrics, nose and ear, orthopaedics, surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, heart, dermatology, gynaecology and family planning, as well as radiology and medical laboratories.

Haya Karima is a massive-scale project across the country that aims to improve the living standards of people This initiative targets improving the life standard of citizens in 175 towns and 4,209 villages, with a total budget of LE 515 billion allocated for the project when first announced. The budget for the project, however, is every growing as the initiatives tackles infrastructure, education, job creation, sanitation, and other aspects.

Haya Karima involves unique concerted efforts by multiple ministries and agencies.
