Court renews detention of Abdullah al-Shamy and others

An Egyptian court has renewed the detention of Al Jazeera hunger striking Abdullah al-Shamy and others for 45 days over violence that followed the ousting of President Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood last August.
